11th Annual Mutt Strut

Chicago Canine Rescue?s 11th Annual Mutt Strut, on Saturday, September 13, 2014, is one of Chicago?s premier, outdoor, pet and family friendly events.

The 1.5 mile walk takes place in the Lakeview neighborhood passing by historic Wrigley Field and finishing up with a fun-filled block party. Walk participants will enjoy a goody bag, give-a-ways, silent auction, music, contests, activities, prizes, food and refreshments.

Our adoptable dogs will be on hand to enjoy the day as well, and their presence reminds us all that Chicago Canine Rescue's existence is vital to them. The funds raised through sponsorships and the public's participation in this event aid the mission of Chicago Canine Rescue to help find permanent, loving homes for homeless dogs in our city. Since 2001, our dedicated organization has saved the lives of thousands of dogs, cats, kittens and puppies.'


CCR helps some of the Midwest?s most vulnerable animals ? dogs with broken bones, senior dogs that require dental surgeries, moms with nursing pups, dogs with disabilities, heartworm disease, skin problems and infections?our list goes on and on.We invite you to join our efforts in saving canine lives by getting involved with Mutt Strut.
