Unicoi Art Studio

Nora Unicoi Stewart grew up learning many forms of art including dance, martial arts and painting, thinking that each form was beautiful in it’s own way. The talented artist then learned at a young age that she had a disease that could one day steal her eyesight. It was a bleak diagnosis, especially for an artist. But not for Nora, because it just made her vision for success much more clear.

Nora founded Unicoi Art Studio in 1999 teaching after school art classes out of her home. She had no idea the company would quickly take off and she would teach hundreds of Chicago kid’s who shared her passion for art! She now has over six different curriculums for kid’s and sends her teachers to multiple Chicago Schools for art class and after school program. Unicoi has expanded to offer Creative Art Parties and Day Camps in addition to after-school classes.
